Review :
Synopsis by Brett Alan Weiss Based on Atari's 1980 coin-op game, Warlords for the Atari VCS has up to four players battling each other for the right to rule a kingdom. Each warlord is surrounded by a breakable wall or castle, viewed from a top-down perspective in a corner of the screen. Your goal is to defeat the three rival warlords by aiming and defending against a ricocheting ball. A small shield positioned in front of your castle is used to either block or grab the ball, depending on the game selected (23 variations are available). If a computer or human opponent fails to block the ball, a piece of the castle will break apart. If the ball makes its way through the wall and touches a warlord, the warlord is defeated. Play resumes until only one person remains active on the screen.
